[ When the feed turns on, there's Usagi adjusting the angle for a moment - apparently she put the journal straight up on a table or something so it'll show the entire scene. no_use_running in the recreation center. Usagi, for one, is brightly smiling - she even seems to be wearing a pair of those fake antlers for the occasion as she waves around the karaoke set's microphone. ]
Hi everyone! It might be a little late, but.. merry Christmas to all of you! Oh, and almost a happy new year too by now, I guess! [ she laughs. ] Well.. since it's still a little Christmas time, Ami-chan and I wanted to let everyone enjoy some Christmas karaoke. Right, Ami-chan? [ she turns towards the other girl. ]
[ Ami manages not to look panicked at the sudden focus on her. She smiles, a bit nervously but politely nonetheless, and gives an approximation of a bow as she dipped her head. ]
We're preparing the machines right now, at the rec center. Please join us, anyone who'd like to. You're very welcome to attend.
[ If Ami sounds a bit like she's making some sort of news announcement, it's probably just shyness. ]
[ Usagi doesn't really seem to notice the shyness, or instead just adds her own over-the-top enthusiasm to the whole thing to make up for it - if she's going to wave that microphone around even more, she might just manage to knock everything over. ]
Yes! That's right, everyone should come, okay? We'll sing fun songs, about Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer and um.. well, all those kind of songs! If you don't attend, you'll be missing out on something great!
Usagi-chan... [ This part seems much less scripted as Ami keeps her voice low, almost as if to keep it from being picked up. ] I think we should let them decide for themselves.
[ There's such a thing as too much, Usagi. And if nothing else, they'll have a great time themselves, singing together just like old times. ]
[ Oh, Ami is completely right, it's just Usagi being.. well, Usagi. And so seh pouts a little at the other girl first, but then she nods, somewhat resigned. ] Aww..
[ She perks up quickly enough, though. ]
Fine, then everyone can decide whether they want to come or not, but it'll still be something great you'd be missing out on. [ a decided nod. ]

Okay, listen up, everyone!
[ Usagi's tone sounds as perky as usual, even over the journals. ]
I'm not sure how many of you know this yet, but.. Ami's birthday is coming up pretty soon! You guys know Ami, right? I'm talking about Ami Mizuno, my really good friend!
Anyways, her birthday is September 10th, which is this Saturday, right? I didn't know how many of you she had told that yet, so I thought I'd tell everyone over these to make sure you all know.. Let's all try our best to be extra nice to her on that day, okay? I know it might be a little bit more difficult to think of presents or get them here, so you don't have to buy one if it's too hard. I'm sure Ami-chan would already be really happy if people would just tell her 'happy birthday'! I'm going to work really hard on a present for her though, so please cheer me on!

[ There's a rather.. strange written entry to be found today. Apparently someone (upon arrival, most likely) thought the journal served some other purpose than it actually does. ]
Dear weird diary-like thing I just found here in the grass,
Today has sure been a strange day! I'm still not sure what's going on, but I think our teacher once said it's good to write your thoughts down so you can all make sense of it later, so that's just what I'm going to do now, okay? There's nobody else to talk around here either way, which is sooo lonely, like you wouldn't even believe! Well.. I could probably go talk to the rabbits I saw earlier here-- thankfully you can't make a weird joke about me talking to rabbits now, ahaha!
But what I was going to talk about.. Oh, right! I found myself in some weird sort of place with some weird sort of dress and wings.. (Are those last ones real, by the way? I'm not sure!) I thought it might be big trouble at first, but I don't think anyone is around here, for better or worse! But.. everyone else might get a little worried at this rate.
... I think the worst part is that I'm starting to get a little hungry though..
